I really didn't need one for awhile because I needed the extra freezer space. I just bought an up right freeze and realized I could now get an ice maker. I found this one and decided to buy it since it wasn't that expensive(I was thinking they would cost a lot more). It took me about 20-25 minutes to install it. It took me a little long because I couldn't find the wire for the solenoid. The wire on my frig was cable tied to the back of the frig's coils. Got it all hooked up and its making ice.
